Cash, Securities and Appreciated Stocks
You may make gifts of publicly traded stocks, cash, bonds and
mutual funds. Securities which have an unrealized long term capital
gain may be a more effective gift than cash.
Donor Intent Notification
In order for the Law Center to acknowledge your gift and for audit
purposes, please provide the Law Center with the following information:
- Donor's name and address
- The name and number of securities transferred
- Your broker's contact information
Once we have this information, we will send you our brokers name
and contact information, and the account routing number necessary
for the transfer.
You may send this information to the Law Center by email, letter

Bequests, Estate Gifts to the Law Center
You should contact your attorney for information on types of estate
gifts you can make. Such gifts could help significantly reduce estate
taxes.
Although you are not required to do so, we would appreciate knowing
