Carbon Free Nuclear Free Roadmap

Aug 25, 2008 - Arjun Makhijani, PhD author of Carbon-Free And Nuclear-Free: A Roadmap for U.S. Energy Policy and President of Institute for Energy and Environmental Research,will be giving a talk at the UNM Law School on his action plan to free America from its addiction to oil, reduce our carbon emissions, phase out nuclear power and grow an economy that is in harmony with the environment.

NRC Holds Public Meetings about Generic Environmental Impact Statement for Uranium Mining

Aug 22 , 2008 - The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will have public meetings in New Mexico, Wyoming, South Dakota and Nebraska about the draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement for In-Situ Leach Uranium Milling.
